It gives 100% turn meter to a random ally, which is an "eh" advantage. But supposedly it also gives them 40% extra defense penetration (at Level 7) which would make the ability MUCH more viable. However, despite using Ackbar for a while the effect hasn't been noticeable enough for me to be sure it's working, especially since there isn't any clear buff sign (like for Advantage, etc) that is shown after the use of this ability.I'm wondering if people just haven't noticed this potential bug since so few use a Rebel deck. @EA_Jesse if you could chime in I'd really appreciate it!

That skill isn't the best, but it can be useful in the right situations... like if you need a heal really badly and get lucky that the turn meeter goes to your healer. Otherwise I just use it when the others are at low turn meter.

That's my thought exactly! I was wondering if the buff just didn't have an "icon" because there isn't one corresponding to the ability and perhaps it was still working under the hood... but it certainly doesn't seem like it.

It should be reworked, Protection penetration instead of defense penetration :)

I have him at 7* and gear lvl 8, and have used TG alot with all sorts of attackers on the receiving end of the defensive penetration, but their attacks seem no more powerful. I wish it was offense up for one turn, at least that would feel like a bonus to my attacks. I find TG ability more useful when needing to get 100% turn meter for a healer or a taunt.

Agreed, that's primarily what I use it for... but its usefulness would be much higher, and probably as intended, if it also gave some sort of additional offensive capabilities.
