You're giving yourself a choice of which character gets to use the 100% TM and get a small heal. It's a pretty badass ability, from the sounds of it.
It costs 100% TM to give another char 100% TM.
In comparison, an Assist call is a free basic attack.
- You can't choose who assists
- You don't get the cooldown reduction
- You don't get the benefits of going twice in a row (some toons have synergy with such TM gain)
- You dont get a 15% HP heal
