- Screerider2 years agoSeasoned AceI think I’d be fine with the show if the dialogue were better written. That is all.
- LordDirt2 years agoSeasoned AceI would love an explanation to how Ezra returned and Thrawn didnt and how Ezra turned to the dark side.

I’m honestly wondering if they are going to somehow canonize Starkiller through this show like maybe Vader hid him as an inquisitor to protect him and marrok is just a weird pronunciation quirk for marrik. It wiuld also explain why he is the only inquisitor left in the entire galaxy because of his training.
Safe to say the Inquisitor we're seeing is wearing a mask specifically for a big reveal later on. Starkiller would be cool but he went to the light so it'd take some quality explaining how/why he went bad again let alone how hes alive.
Ezra being the Inquisitor (as many people are speculating) may be a bridge too far for me with current Star Wars. I can think of about 54 gigantic plot holes this creates and I, sadly, have no faith the writers will have the ability to flesh such a monumental change out effectively.
I can certainly handle direction changes but the big issue with the last few years of SW (IMO) is there are serious changes to lore, characters, and the rules of the world without exposition. I'm waiting for Luke Skywalker to show up with 2 blasters, a jetpack and no lightsabers because Mando is cool so why not make Luke cool too? That change requires exploring and the recent SW has shown an inability to flesh out story components. I'm really really really hoping Thrawn is different and we will know soon enough...
Maybe this could be his good origin Story, like he never had the chance to be good in cannon and Ahsoka will redeem him to the light, adding yet another powerful force user to Rey's new Jedi order. OR, they cab explain it away as an offshoot of the bad timeline in FU II where Vader had finally perfected the cloning process. The only other explanation that would be huge and a good fit for Ahsoka's backstory if they somehow say that they are Barris Offie, but IDK how they could do that TBJ - IronGeneral1232 years agoRising NewcomerI also am wondering if Captain Drogan might somehow appear in the Ahsoka series and that is why CG is holding his Kit announcement?

Yea, I mean, it wasn't all that bad..... Unlike most SW fans, I am not willing to write a whole series off over a few flaws.... But man, that felt really weird to me... I was like "SAY SOMETHING!"
i think the camera stays on the actors for too long as well
Its like they don't have a line but they have to do something since the camera doesn't move away so it feels off-putting
It could also be an acting issue since Baelon (sp?) doesn't feel off at all when he's standing in camera - Whatelse732 years agoSeasoned AceAnd if a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its butt if it hopped.

@shlominus
If this wasn't Star Wars, then the characters wouldn't have a past, and then most of these problems go away.
A huge part of the problem is that the writers are treating Ahsoka as if there's no need to make it work with Rebels and other things. Ahsoka being an aloof master isn't bad. What's bad is that she was anything BUT aloof her whole life. Even when given command of large numbers of troopers, she didn't allow her rank to distance herself from them. The problem here is that the current series doesn't match the lore at all, this Ahsoka isn't at all like previous Ahsokas, and that kills the experience for many of us.
But no, if this wasn't Star Wars, you wouldn't laugh it off. You'd wonder where this new world is going. Or, well, I don't know about you personally, but the general "you" which you used to tell me how I would react if this show wasn't Star Wars, that general "you" wouldn't laugh off the show.
There are lots of reasons to watch. It drives me batty, though, when they seem determined to alienate the fans that follow the franchise.
Haven't you noticed that Andor was great, but it didn't have any lore getting in the way? This was prequel for Cassian, not sequel, so we couldn't expect that he would be the same as he was the last time we saw him. Mandalorian, too, was exciting to people ... but it had no backstory for either Din or Grogu to get wrong.
Ahsoka feels bad ***because*** it's Star Wars. Not being set in the SW universe with SW characters wouldn't kill the show. Frankly, it probably could have saved it. - Screerider2 years agoSeasoned AceJust like they do in so many sci-fi shows, they’re probably going to bring these characters to modern Earth. So cliche.
At this point, i wouldn't be surprised to find out Dooku survived.... lol
Somehow Count Dooku returned!"BobaFettish86;c-2436359" wrote:
Come on, folks. She clearly got stabbed to the side of her kidney. And the heat from the lightsaber would instantly cauterise the wound, which is why she didn't bleed. That being said, she would have an extra hole unless it got patched up. Given the angle of the thrust, I suppose you could attach lenses to either end and turn her into a human telescope.
Sounds like you aren't much into anatomy, but assume you know what would kill and what wouldn't.
You have 2 kidneys, one on each side, and yes she prolly lost one there which is surviveable.
She got stabbed on the right side in the in the middle point of her bottom rib / chest. From what I can see on pictures.
Given I'm not a doctor, I do work at a hospital though.
Her liver is gone, gall bladder/pancreas etc. mostl likely aswell, parts of the intenstines are hit aswell while other parts burned, her lung tissue should have taken some damage aswell and the heat would most deffinately puncture a lunge.
With or without the force protecting her, she would have lost too many vitals and would die. If the technology is at a point where they in a short amount of time can re-establish her organs, she might be able to survive, but time is a huge factor. But as someone mentioned, if they can do that, not pulling it out sideways is way too dumb.- In my opinion the show is borring.
First lightsaber fight terrible, second mediocre.
Plot is a copy paste.
Sabine and Ahsoka is not likeable in this itteration.
I didn't expect much going in, but still a bit dissappointed... But I guess yay girl power?
