There are several devastating arena meta teams right now, Jyn does not feature in any of them, so not needed for arena. She is great for raids, but so are a bunch of other characters, so not needed for raids. GW ... take your pick, you don't need any one character for GW.
Go for her if you just really like her character or fancy playing with her abilities, you don't *need* her.
