Anakin’s ETA-2 Shard Drops

The amount of times I have gotten 0 shards (even during this double drop) is turning into a laughing stock of a game on my newest alt account. I started it in April, and the ship is still only at 4 stars, despite that I’ve been grinding it since I was able to. Do I have to wait several years for it to be at 7* now. Is that how this game works now? If so, then I’m pretty much done playing.
