Annual Leave in SWGoH

CG Cyanides raised an interesting data point about the number of players who installed the game in 2015 and had missed less than 14 days since that point and his surprise at the number.

As a QOL I would like to suggest an annual leave component in GoH that would provide the player (and their current guild) their average of resources.....but at the cost of not being able to actively log into the game and play (ie not double dipping.

This would allow players to actually take a holiday but not feel pressured to login for arena / dailies / raids / GAC / TW / farming etc etc etc so as to not miss out those resources in comparison to their peers because these would be provided in a bundle at the end of the nominated holiday period.

1-2 weeks a year would make for much happier partners and families and probably give an improved outcome for player retention in the long run
  • Honestly it wouldn't be much of an issue or pain or even a bad economy to give someone a welcome back small bundle of crystals. Say you miss a week you get 100 crystals, most of the time you'd have earned way more in that week from playing and it's what discourages me from this game. That said they still need to review the bs that comes from marquees. You miss a day there or it's in the few days you miss the game you are like a month behind.

This doesnt directly fall into the OP suggestion, but one way they could help this would be to raise the player max for ticket contributions. It has come up before, but if the limit was 650, and the guild max was still 30k, it would allow the guild to help cover players that need to be less active for any reason. At least on the daily sense this could help.

Some guilds cover by temporarily replacing members with ticket bots/alts until the members are active again. If you're focused on achieving 30k tickets each and every day, it's only a small thing to do.

Could we get sick days too?

Playing this game is what I use my sick days for.

Aren't those of us who are still playing since 2015 a little sick (in the head) for still being here?
