Another Baze and Shoretrooper Event?
I know these heroes were released a while back, and are farmable for high level players. I appreciate EA's policy for hero release cadence, and am very grateful for all the efforts given to make a fair, balanced game for paying players and free players alike.
I myself am a free player (currently only level 70 on a very new shard), but admit to having spent in the past on a separate account before taking a long-term break. As such, I cannot farm Baze, not even with daily reward and arena crystals (if I hope to stay competitive in arena and maintain a reasonable player level). I compete daily for #1 rank on my shard, and can usually take it at payout. I'm the only team in the top 20 that doesnt use Chaze or Shoretrooper, simply because I do not have Baze Malbus or Shoretrooper. Others have spent to obtain them, and I too plan on farming them in time. However, in the meantime I can only run a heavy damage/debuff team without a realiable tank. I don't fall below rank 20, so defense isn't a real issue. But I believe having a Baze and Shoretrooper would open up more options for my team (swapping people in and out without worrying about combating auto taunters without my own auto taunters).
I am wondering if maybe there will be an event in the future that releases enough shards to unlock one of these heroes. You guys work so hard to make this game player friendly for everyone, and this is just the hope of one soul among many. I really enjoy this game and have no intention of putting it down any time soon. Thanks for reading.
