Ok, let’s say he doesn’t play and I win with my 10 banners. That just teaches the matching algorithm that I am great and I get even harder op next time.
It teaches the matching algorithm that you were better than the guy you just fought. And you were. Why and how doesn't matter, winning is winning
Sigh. No, clearly not.
Hey little league baseball team of 12 year olds, you won your local league congrats! Next week you’re gonna play the local high school team! What’s that? You have no hope of winning and that won’t be fun for either side. Oh well. But wait! They didn’t bother to show, you win! You must be the best 12 year old baseball players ever! Next week you play the Yankees! What’s that? They destroyed you 100 to 0. Hooray! Isn’t this a fun and engaging game mode that rewards you for playing and incrementally improving your roster so you can climb the ladder?
Please.
You know you only score about 35 skill pts for a victory, right ? So, in a league where the lowest skill rating is 2170 (12 years old) and the highest 4226 (Yankees), you need a 59-0 streak through tougher and tougher opponents to play them. I say the kids have a shot.
Side note that I am sure CG is in no way interested in: f2p should have their own ladder.
Why? Surely you realize that there are f2p players at every level of this game. There's f2p who have just started, and there's f2p who have been playing since launch and have almost everything unlocked. If there was a f2p only ladder that wouldn't eliminate the fact that you'd still be getting matched up against better rosters and you'd still be coming onto the forums complaining about it
