Double drops are a thing that happens and they do not change the drop rates as they have stated multiple times, which means that some may end up with a bad drop here and there. Yes this can happen on the the day when double drops are active. Due to a concept called 'confirmation bias' and the importance/rare occurence of double drops people tend to complain more because they are paying close attention at this time, causing some to believe they are getting handed a bad run and blame it on the dev team. The truth is that these bad runs can and do happen all the time with no bias to a person, date, time, or number of sims selected.
Exactly. Last night night I went 0/10 for Mission, then went 20/10 (double drops rule!) It's not always a get 1 per 3 attempts kind of math. Sometimes it is 33/100 which you only see when you track all of the data (as many on here have done).
