A little less severe than probably half of you are expecting especially if your expecting me to comment on drop rates, however, I don't know what good reason there is for ally toons not showing up half of the time.As everyone knows energy is precious in this game and hard nodes in chapter 9 are designed to be grudgingly hard to force massive progress in the game or maybe even some money splashed. I figured the best way to make use of energy in attempting a 3 star is to wait for specific allies toons that significantly impact the fight, however I have 3 allies at least in a not so giant friend list that have JKRevan and through reopening light side node 9B 50 times and even chucking a few attempts with other allies toons not once has it allowed me the opportunity to use my friends JKR??To me it seems slightly odd and potentially fishy that the one character who could help me 3 star isn't appearing

You can use one of each ally's leaders once every 8 hours

For instance, if I was your Ally and used Darth Revan in my Cantina battles, it would give you my Darth Revan, but if I changed my leader for cantina battles to Jedi Revan, it would give Jedi Revan to you instead

Most people cleared LS stage 9 before they acquired JKR, so unless they specifically played a LS battle to switch their lead to JKR they won’t show up in your ally list. You can ask your ally to play a LS battle manually with a JKR lead to fix it. Though honestly, unless you’re running Jedi, Chewie is a little easier to get 3* with.

As the others have said, whatever toon the player used on that specific node is what is available to you in the ally slot. If they used CLS, you get CLS as an ally. I would say 99% of players that completed all the nodes did so before JKR was released, so they’re would be no way for that player to lend JKR to you for those nodes. Unless they go back to the node and manually finish it again with a JKR lead, which there isn’t really a reason to do so.

I've looked many times since the new allies from my guild added me and his name hasn't come up once, I didn't want to try to commit the others to memory but I probably should do because I'm not sure if I forgot about last used leader or if I was too enticed by the arena leader it shows in the allies list if it is the arena leader?

It’s not the arena leader. It’s whatever lead was used last in a LS table battle.

What does matter is the last leader they used on the table. So my arena lead is Jedi Knight Revan, but the last lead I used on the mods table was Bossk. So if one of my allies pulled me on the mods table, they'd see Bossk, not Revan.

I have spent all my energy and refilled some of them for shards..for 2 days..and I am still coming up empty. Tons wasted for nothing...this includes shards and gear....I haven't picked up cantina shards for 2 days now. So 25-30% drop rates should kick up to high gear and should drop like wild fire right!

No. No, it should not. That's gambler's fallacy.

That logic works in some games because those games do not use fair dice. They use some form of self-correcting dice.

But Galaxy of Heroes uses fair dice. The probability of your next roll will still be one in three. No better and no worse, regardless of how your last rolls were. Things balance back out to about one in three not by changing the odds or self-correction, but by dilution.

Anyone who said that your allies likely completed the tables long before Revan is correct. The only thing I can add to this, is that they don't necessarily have to manually play it again. Just go to the table now, pull up a battle like you were going to play it, set that leader and leave. It doesn't take completing it, or using any energy to make the change anymore.
