Are there pvp rewards after battle?

No after battle rewards, just rank change. All rewards are via the daily mail out based on your rank at cut off.

Thanks a lot! I got confused when reading earlier posts saying people get 100 tokens per win. I just got Sid but it seems like several month before getting him to 7 stars.

Oh it's possible that they may have been referring to the reward for the daily activity completion. You get 100 tokens when you complete 3 arena fights each day.
