You need to elaborate on your idea so devs know what you are suggesting.

They could do any number of things they could stagger payouts for people each half hour so there would be 48 potential payout times. That would clear up half the clutter. Forexample ETS pay out time A 4:00 PM payout time B 4:30. Player are split into these groups by current rank. Current 1 rank gets new payout time A. Current 2 rank gets payout time B. Current rank 3 gets payout time A. It sucks watching a team in first you know you never lose to just sit there blocking.

or limit the number of arena refresh.

Why don't they just make a button that puts you in 1st place for 1000 crystals? Because this whole game doesn't revolve around crystals. Sometimes you just want a fair competition.

A 50 crystal refresh can keep you in first as opposed to 5th which is 200 crystal drop
