When your rent is $300 a month and you have even a minimum wage job thats 20+ hours, without a child, you have a lot of disposable income for hobbies.
EDIT: Forgot to mention I live in the UK where the minimum wage is around £7 or $10.

I don't know. Thats a ton of money. That's way more than a months rent in 95% of the country. I honestly don't know how people spend that kind money (let alone whatever you guys think is a whale benchmark) on a product like this. Must be nice.
