Arena Nonsense

This datacron nonsense that makes in near impossible to kill an entire team during the 5 minute period is getting out of hand. Especially if its a team you're fighting that calls a ton of assists. I see over 2 minutes of my 5 minute period wasted on enemy attacks. Then I run out of time with the last (usually JMK) character at half health and the only one left. I don't understand out when I have 4 dudes up, he has one it's an effing draw.

Go back to the days of no datacrons or don't allow their use in PVP related events.

  • It would help if you mentioned what team you are fighting as even JMK Ezra teams with the JML Datacron are beatable.

Nonsense to suggest they shouldn't be allowed in PvP events as nobody would use them then.

yea and weather we lik it or we don't datacrons  r here to stay they i personally dont mind them but i understand the frustration

  • Datacrons are only available in PVP. Taking them out of PVP takes them out of the game entirely and we're back to the stale old days when the meta was only changed by adding new characters. Just imagine how frustrated you would be then, if the only way to counter new stuff was to have even newer stuff. Did you like it when Malak was the top of the meta and wasn't reliably beatable until GAS was released? And let's not forget the wailing and gnashing of teeth over GAS's unlock event.

  • It would make more sense to make some changes to PvP

Firstly, victory conditions, if the match times out the game would decide a victor based on characters remaining, if the same amount of characters are left then the average health percentage of both teams would be compared, whatever team has either more survivors or more health left wins.

Turn timers, when it is your turn so you can't wait it out to win after damaging the enemy a little bit, you'd have 10 seconds to make your move before the next character moves, missing a turn would inflict a stack of penalty, 3 stacks of penalty instantly defeat the character. So you absolutely have to still play, the match time will not go down during enemy turns. This would be to try and ensure that a draw is brought about naturally and not forced.

Winning on a draw or timeout will award significantly less points in territory wars but still eliminate the enemy team, same for grand arena
