auto deploy too hard

If you’re having a hard time clearing autodeploy, either it’s not really autodeploy just someone setting up a strong defense, or you need to leave more teams for offense.

While not typically as strong as a squad with faction synergy, deploying from the top of the roster down can sometimes create unexpectedly challenging combinations of high-powered toons.

Composing squads at random from the defender's roster would greatly reduce the odds of that happening.

And it would make your matchups completely be based on luck. It's fine the way it is, people need to stop whining and blaming the game. So what if you need 2 attempts to beat a random team? The opponent is unlikely to score against you anyways unless you suck in defense too. Just don't suck.

I would prefer that the GA/ Championship AI remember your last defensive deployment that you set and auto deployed based on that if you don't set your defenses. Better than MORE RNG. But that's just me.

I agree. I'm not the best player in the game, and I dont have the most exciting toons, but I don't get all bitchy and complain just because I lose in HA and whatnot. Its part of the game, if you can't handle it then get out.

op has a point. i think a good solution would be for AI to set teams completely randomized using the top 80 characters. this would make a full clear much easier while still handicapping the player that did not set D.

Some of those auto deployed teams are difficult for sure, but if it deployed from the bottom up instead, that would leave all the good toons for offense even though they didn't make the effort to set. I would certainly do that if that was the case. As it is, I go for minimum effort. Can't win? Don't care. The rewards are far from worth it.

I get his point. I'm 2.8m gp, got matched with a 3.7m gp that couldn't be bothered to set a defense and some of the teams ended up being semi-good.

You're still gonna clear and win easily though, unless you went defense heavy...which you shouldn't be doing anyway.

A better solution would be an automatic full points win for the attacker, still use up lazy guy's best toons on d so I can get my feats and remove two fully crafted stun guns from his best toons as punishment

and auto zeta his Bodhi or Rose

That'd stop this stuff pretty quickly
