Yeah, but if you're that new of a player you're probably not ready anyway. I know YOU are, but the question becomes at what point "should" someone be able to get a character? Obviously someone who has played for two weeks shouldn't be ready, and someone who has played for two years should. But where's that cutoff point where someone shouldn't reasonably expect to unlock a Legendary because they're simply not yet ready?- Let's look at it from CG's perspective who is likely to pay for the shard packs to get R2 and CLS the guy playing for 2 years ready for the return or the newer players panic farming. Would newer players buy shard packs for cls if the event runs with no R2 before hand? Would CG make any money at all from the heroes journey just targeting day 1 players?

- Tbh going by how long it has been before r2 appearances we aren't far off one being due even without cls. Putting it out a couple of weeks early to go along with cls doesn't seem overly strange.

So, CLS is the 28th. Not a simultaneous event, like they should have done, not by Christmas, and delayed a week by R2. But, they are both coming. While I am displeased by the delay and the pandering, I am a man of my word. I retract my statements and my vitriol.
