The scanner once he's already at gear 10 makes a big difference on his buff immunity sticking too, increasing his potency from 130% to 170%.
Is the difference really that noticable? I've been debating adding that scanner but felt that 130% was already quite good. I figured the biggest problem with the buff sticking was the 65% chance rather than his potency.
