For me I don’t necessarily dislike her, I just don’t find her very interesting. I’m sure as her story progresses she’ll become more likable, if they give her as much character development as they did Ahsoka. People didn’t like Ahsoka at first either, but as her character developed she became a very popular character. I don’t think you should jump to conclusions about people disliking her because she’s a girl. There are plenty of female characters in Star Wars that people like ( Ahsoka, Leia, Padme, Sabine, etc).

lol ok. Why exactly is she not interesting to you? Who is more interesting in this series? How are you not putting out a judgement while claiming you judge her to not be interesting? Is that not a conclusion for now?

Please help me understand your meaning by answering these questions to explain yourself. Otherwise this is pure doublespeak.

Seems to me you are making a lot of assumptions about some forum users liking/disliking genders. Sure you can ask why someone doesn’t like a character in your post I quoted above, but simply jumping to “you just don’t like female characters” is off the mark imo.

So far Omega has mostly just gotten herself into tight spots that the BB have had to get her out of. If they show her usefulness to the group by having her complete tasks none of the other members could (like they have once so far when she recovered the part of the ship), then she will be a more fulfilling part of the show for me. Until then it can sometimes feel like “adventures in babysitting” more than what my expectations for the show may have been.

Also, I believe the show will get there, it is simply taking longer for it to happen than I would prefer. I definitely want Omega to be more than a simple plot pushing device and more of a character moving forward. I believe it will happen, just needs a bit more time and they are likely developing her over time.

Other interesting aspects could definitely be about the inhibitor chips, Omega’s mysterious abilities, recovering Crosshair, moving to civilian life after war, the growth of the empire, and the transition to non-clone stormtroopers to simply name a few. Omega has a place in this show, but so far she has been more of a plot device than a character (a character we didn’t even know coming into the show, so the slow progression with her character work is even more disappointing for me, since I know her the least). I’ll try to be patient.
