Bariss and Mods

I seem to see more and more posts about Bariss and her Zeta, I have yet to unlock her and am wondering if now i should focus on her and getting Zetas to bump her up.... the second part is that I dont really understand the significance of where you place certain mods like what should go i the circle, arrow, triangle, cross and so forth could use a lil help thanx

You have much to learn, young padawan. Have you tried the search function? There should be plenty of threads about your questions, especially the mods.
  • no just havent had time to sit and look , im sure there is , i have been heavy concentrating on health mods, the triangle seems to be rhe hardest to aquire
  • On the early side of things the pre mapped mod challenges are better to fill in the missing shapes.
  • The Barriss zeta is essentially a turtle strategy. You sacrifice virtually all offense to hide behind an unbreakable defense. You likely won't win many arena battles with that team but you also likely won't lose many on defense either. It's a solid team for holding your spot but not so good for climbing the ranks. It might come in handy on GW, tho, if that's something you're struggling with.

Right now, there's a big question of whether that unbreakable defense is too OP so one of two things is going to happen:

  • The community figures out its weakness and the meta shifts to beat it; or
  • CG steps in and nerfs Barriss or releases a hard counter.

Whichever outcome ends up happening, chances are it'll happen before you've farmed her and have her arena-ready. It might take longer, especially if the counter is behind a paywall, but as long as you're OK with the possibility that she'll no longer be arena-viable by the time you finish farming her, go for it. This logic applies to pretty much any strategy.
  • i was thinking of using it as the defense for the tourneys to see if that would work
  • She's a good one to farm IMO. Her healing is great especially if you're inflicted with healing immunity. She dispells debuffs on team members with the lowest health, after her turn - and if you haven't unlocked yoda yet, he can't steal her heal like he can with Luminara. On top of all that, she has a health pool that's insane, she might as well be a tank.

The ONLY downside to her is she can't deal damage.

IMO - best healing jedi out there.
