I just faced a team in gw with baze in it. I have a video I can try to upload if needed. My question is how can baze counter every attack when he doesn't have retribution, and to top it off even has buff immunity during most of the match. I thought he only counters when he has retribution? If he counters 100% of the time then there's no point in him getting the buff.

Was there chirrut imwe with him on the team ? chirut with his "indomitable will" has 17% counter chance for each living enemy. This bonus goes to baze too.

i faced a Baze Squad where the same happend and there was no Chirrut

Chirrut was there part of the time, baze kept countering every attack even after I took Chirrut out.

Close. I have never see the hot continue with chirrut out. The mechanic that gives rebels hot on crit actually checks if chirrut is alive or not.

^^this. HOT stops when chirrut dies. But baze keeps the counter and Biggs keeps his speed. Kinda wish there was consistency between uniques ending on death or carrying on after.

Baze was not OP, Chirrut was OP. But in light of all the new toons, his strength and weakness got even out nicely. So, since Chirrut is not OP, Baze's bug fix is probably not on DEV's priority considering how bad R1 as a team is. B)

baze/chaze is what you buy for lots of money to win this game. Simple as that I'm afraid mate.
