Be Mindful of the Living Force
So I'm supposed to pay attention to the future, as Yoda advised, but not at the expense of the present moment, as QGJ admonished.
So it took a while, but then suddenly during meditation the Force flowed clearly and it hit me: We can't possibly do the upcoming raid on Naboo without Padawan Kenobi.
I'm picturing a mid-tier toon with strong QGJ synergy that boosts both of them when fighting separatist droids. Add in a raid Omicron for PK and you can make a two-toon squad that can max out a single attempt on their own, but isn't unduly powerful outside the raid. (Kenobi is just a padawan at this point, after all).
Sure, Padmé's castle-raid squad + the Gungans + PK is a lot of toons for a single raid, but remember we're not being asked to get a new GL for this raid, so 7-12 new raid-focussed toons isn't unreasonable.
PK's synergy with QGJ should make him useful under QGJ in GAC to give PK permanent utility after the raid sunsets, but the goal isn't to make him a great toon. He already has a GL version. The goal is just to give you one amazing raid combo for a single max attempt using an undermanned squad, if you choose to relic these toons that high -- much the same way we have GL Leia who maxes out her attempt every time as an undermanned squad. Since PK is a padawan not a GL it would require his raid Omicron, but I wouldn't mind spending a raid Omicron to get a single reliable max attempt, especially if it was using an undermanned squad and especially especially if it was this iconic duo storming through endless waves of droids.
