Lando, increased speed and critical damage

Cad Bane. 20% evasion (higher than Ben) and 25% turn meter when evading.

Best defense against AE teams.

definitely not Cad Bane, i use him and yes even though his leader ability does evade, it is not consistent. I am not saying it's broken but i did worse with cad bane's leader ability than Lando's leader ability

Of course, part of it depends on who/what you are up against. It also partly depends on what the other scoundrels are on your team. I prefer Lando lead for the speed bump and increased damage - but I also pair him with STHan so Lando goes early and often. I also have Lando geared with 2 sets of "crit chance" mods. So don't need IG88's lead ability to help him as much.

Cad is crucial if you have a less tanky team (i.e. no maxed STHan) - as you want to avoid as much damage as possible.

My point in all of this is that there really is no "true best" - just what's best for you based on team comp., mods, etc.

Lando. If you dont have it, Cad Bane.

Only problem with Boba is his gear tree is insane. I run Lando for right now.

I like the concepts behind his kit, but his basic hits like Barris. If he hit harder (like even Lando's basic), and wasn't so incredibly slow (what good is ability block if, by the time you use it, everyone has already used all their abilities??) he'd be solid.

I like using 88 lead with Boba, Dengar, and Gamorrean Guard for an interesting dot team. 88 puts extra dots on Boba and Dengar's AOE.

I tried going the Cad route thinking it would be especially good for defense but wasn't too thrilled.

All that matters is who goes first.
