is sion better than Vader on a Traya team? I have Vader r7 already and I was wondering if I should use the tank token in the episode pass on sion to replace Vader on that team. I know the rest of the team is Traya nihlius savage and talon.

Yes! There are various little passive buffs the 3 of them (Sith trio) give each other. Savage replaces Sion in 3v3 simply because the omicron is so good. So, the 3v3 team is Traya, Savage and Nihilus.
The 5v5 team is Traya, Savage, Nihilus, Sion and.......Talon is the best 5th, yes. However, if you had a tank cron for example, you could plug in SET. Maybe, you're a big fan of Talon on a Malgus team? In this case, you could look for a different 5th to go with the Sith Trio.
In TW, Savage is not important at all on the team. You could consider Vader instead of him there. Maybe......that would work better vs the nasty Poggle-cron?
I don't think Darth Vader has 'great' synergy with the team. However, he does apply dots that should work well. Also, Vader and Traya are both Geo killers...............together they must be SUPER GEO KILLERS!!!
In short, not something you have to worry too much about right now as we're heading into 3v3 and Savage is better. However, for the next 5v5; Sion is definitely better than Vader, even if the relic level is lower. The Traya team is less bothered about Relic Delta than probably any other team.
