I, an iPhone user, would not cry in any situation regarding platform exclusive gifts. It is what it is and crying gets you nowhere.
But regardless of what platform gets the "better" gift, i will always find it unfair. Everytime a platform exclusive event is live it's going to lead to controversie. I think most people hate getting less than others more than they love getting more than others, i do atleast. So at the end both sides feel like they have been shorted instead of both sides thinking they got something nice. That's why i don't like these platform exclusive events.
Anyway, i'm realistic enough to realize that it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. It's not like the American iPhone users who got Poe back when he was meta (instead of phasma or nothing at all like the rest of the world) are still on top just because of that gift, it's fair to assume it wasn't even noticable anymore after just a few months.
