My guess is the dots killed Boba right at turn start and he revived so he still had the ignore taunt thing going.
Have seen weird things with Boba revive. Best was he used basic on Aalya and scored a double tap. Aalya countered and killed Boba who revived and Aalya hit him a second time stunning him.
Just had K2 kill Boba and Inflict offense down and when he revived he gained expose from jyn lead for the previous debuff.
It seems his revive is happening on the fly with out interrupting the current turn. Be it his or his opponent.

When pathfinder first came out, he had a bug where if he died with healing immunity he only revived with a tiny bit if health instead of the x% per living Rebel. So it seems like revive is not always as clean cut as we think it should be.
