Character idea: Separatist Veteran Grandfather

Name: Separatist Veteran Grandfather
Affiliation: Neutral
Tags: Support, Separatist
Relic Amplifier: CIS Medals

First appearing in the Tales of the Underworld series, the as of yet unnamed Grandfather was a decorated Veteran of the Confederacy of Independant Systems during the Clone Wars. Sometime after the Clone Wars, he settled on a desert planet with his Granddaughter and during an incident with the natives retrieving water became hoverchair bound. Despite his now disability, he was still able to wield a blaster, though sometimes his granddaughter would accompany him with the blaster. Eventually, he would encounter Asajj Ventress who he recognised and offered information on the location of the Hidden Path to her and the Jedi Lyco Strata in exchange for helping to retrieve more water. Later, he was convinced by Asajj to cooperate with the native raiders who turns out had been protecting the water spring that he'd been collecting water from.

It would be great to have more unique characters to represent the diversity of the Star Wars universe like with the Veteran in a wheelchair / hoverchair, much like why Drogan was introduced having phocomelia.

Despite him being a Separatist, as he was willing to help Asajj and Lyco to find the Hidden Path and later form a truce with the natives, I feel he'd be suited as a Neutral aligned character like Hondo which would make him rather unique. His Granddaughter could also accompany him like the Mandalorian (Beskar) with Grogu.

Although he currently remains unnamed, SWGOH could be where his name is revealed and his backstory further explored.

  • Loved this character in the show! they really managed to give him a full character arc as a side character in one 15 minute episode. One question though, do you mean CIS medals for  the relic amplifier?

  • I like the idea of more normal, everyday humans in the game. However, him being disabled (and then you claiming: haha, more diversity) shouldn't be the reason why.

Well no, how the character would work gameplay wise would be foremost, but also you wouldn’t want a whole lot of generic characters that all feel and look the same just added, that’s why diversifying matters.
