Screw your pirates. Seriously, putting a barrier to entry on something like bonus/double drops for characters that arent even farmable. As if I couldnt be more burned out and less interested in a drop of marquee characters like pirates then you double down on f the ftp players. Oh, you can keep all of your 30 dollar lightspeed bundles too. 100 bucks for the leia requirements lol. This game is getting more and more ridiculous with the pay to win every month.

It’s a shame that you expressed yourself so poorly and angrily, and that a good debate wasn’t generated, because it’s an important topic. Consider that for your next post. It got lost in the limbo and people didn’t get involved.
I’m not going to give such a strong opinion as the other guy who is clearly angry, but in the last two years I’ve been in two Latin American clans that don’t stop looking for mergers with other clans. There are almost no players left in LAS.
The game’s criteria is “they need to make money” fine… But then, when you release a pack that everyone is going to want to buy, like Leia’s, you put it at $100… Seriously guys?
You can set the price of the packs however you want, but if I end up playing alone because I’m one of the few who can afford it in LAS… What’s the point of buying it? Why would I keep playing?
My clan hasn’t had new players to recruit for months, we’re 39/50…
And now this bonus only for people with relic characters that almost nobody wants, it makes no logical sense. The decisions you make are so arbitrary and against the community.
The pace of marquee releases is f****** relentless now, I'm definitely feeling burnt out. When I saw the in-game message about bonus drops I was angry about it for a minute and then decided I can just miss the bonus drops and not be angry instead.
I think 32 new characters a year is frankly insane. As much as I appreciate the standardized format, I do think CG need to hit the breaks on the marquee production line and scale it back to 4 per era instead of 6. Or keep 6 new marquees for GLs, but Legendaries could be 4 or 5 (see SK, Aphra, Baylan).
They don't need to be farmable to hit R3.
Anyway- its an event that rewards those who made an effort, nothing wrong with that. Particularly if it annoys entitled players like you who want stuff for nothing.
It's a typical tactic for them to get us to do a spending increase at certain times of the year. Though the issue is those spending increase expectations are getting more and more often. They also don't spot check some of those packs. Last month there were a couple where you got more from a 1000? crystal pack than a 2400? crystal pack because they don't care to QA/QC anything. It's as if they're letting AI build packs for them.
One day we might see Gamers making decisions at CG again, one day...
