- A nice touch I loved, for what it's worth, was that the gift The Armorer made was wrapped up incidentally, but when Mando was looking at it on the space southwest plane it was just reminiscent enough of Baby Yoda's head without being too on the nose. It's a hard note to hit but they did it.

CG - We have a problem.
Beskar Mando is now not a Mandalorian but is back doing Bounty Hunter stuff.
Nah, the Beskar Mandalorian in the game is the season 2 Mandalorian. It still works.
We'll probably get a season 3 Mandalorian eventually, but that'll be something different."Ultra;c-2331972" wrote:
Man, I spent an hour watching this episode and enjoyed every minute of it
Easily, the best episode so far and kinda disappointed that its part of BoBa series because asking people to sit through first 4 episodes just for this one is asking for too much
It felt like E1 of S3 of Mando, with the backstory of his planet, dark saber, and the direction of the upcoming plot
I enjoyed it, too. It made me retroactively enjoy the first four episodes more. Star Wars is a place, and these five episodes have served to build that place in more detail. I was talking to a friend last weekend about how we both really, really like the direction of modern TV towards shorter seasons with more focused story arcs, but also how we still miss what you used to get in the filler episodes of the old 24-episode seasons in the old days. I'm coming to enjoy Book of Boba Fett more now that I see it as some really good filler that expands the world and characters.
Well, this is certainly a nice change of pace to see.
While I myself personally thought that the show had spent too much time building up, it is interesting to see people that actually like this approach, let alone being able to better appreciate the previous episodes more because of it. I find it a breath of fresh air from some of the usual “I don’t like this, I think it’s bad, and you should feel bad if you like it” types of people I have seen. - DK_Raid_ViolatorSeasoned NewcomerSo, is the Conquest reward DS Mando or the Naboo Fighter?
- Methuselah666Seasoned ScoutBest Mando episode of the year! Seems like a filler episode cuz they'll be stretching Boba beyond 1 season. Don't get me wrong...I thought it was great! But it wasn't a BoB episode in any way or form.
- I think the reason Mando showed up again is because, and I am just speculating (And lowkey hoping), that they are headed for the route of Boba becoming Mand'alor. For those who know Legends, Boba becomes Mand'alor at some later point in his life and actually succeeds in uniting the clans like Bo-Katan tried to. For Mando to show up might end up tieing the story together so Boba can eventually gain the Darksaber.
That is, assuming they do go down that route. I sincerely hope so, because Mand'alor Boba is something I enjoyed very much - ScoundrelRuiNew Novice

Kransten is the only good thing about this series so far as the bar scene really showed how powerful he is and not to be taken lightly by any trandoshan, cos cookies in canton aren't shown to be half as ruthless as trandsohans.
PS: The scene was once again just fan service as people have wanted a wookie to rip someones arm(s) off in a movie or show for decades.
Chewie already did that in Solo "LordDirt;c-2332619" wrote:

Fan service is still fan service. That movie was very forgetful.
Hollywood has become fan service, I would get used to it. It doesn’t mean it’s right, but it’s going to stick around.- Easily, the best episode so far and kinda disappointed that its part of BoBa series because asking people to sit through first 4 episodes just for this one is asking for too much me too dear

Also, from the first season I seem to remember that Mando usually donates most of what he gives to the Armorer and only gets a small portion turned into something for himself.
Ok, that makes sense too, I did get that what she made was probably chain mail, and I wondered how such a large object turned into some small package.
