He said it best, and I said it earlier.
My guild, particularly the people behind the screen and in our chat, keep me around....which keeps me logging in and doing my 600.
I zero tag the first 2 raids and do as much as I have to in HSR, TB and TW.
If not for the personalities that keep the guild fun, it'd have been uninstalled long ago. I've been on the fence plenty of times, as have other guildies.
If enough of the right ones leave, I'd walk away with them and not look back. We've already begun experimenting with other games as it is.
