The removal from R8/R9 only seemed like a reprieve since they are now demanding R8/R9 for several GLs & Ship events.
The Double/Halving was a net loss since the Double part didn't happen at every single location.
(Daily challenges for example did NOT get doubled)
Some of the things that could be done would be to balance out the Salvage v/s Crafted ratios.
If something is 5 salvage to a combine or mixes in 3 different items & some creds into the costs to combine it, then the fully crafted items shouldn't just be 3x or 5x the value of the shards. It should be 10x or something similar so you get the benefit of those other materials you invest.
Or, if they wanted to do something that was "text/level" based & not have to decide what is a craftable item v/s one that comes fully completed already, they could just increase the conversion rate based on the level inside each group.
So CCW's are Mark 1-2-3.
Well, they could leave the Mark 1's at their current level.
But double the value of all Mark-2 items
And triple the value of all Mark-3 items.
So instead of just 1 or 3 for Salvage v/s Completed, you would have 1-2-3 for each Salvage & then 3-6-9 for each full item.
You could have the same effect with BWs going from 2-6-10 for all Mark-4-5-6 items & change that into
2-6-10 for Mark-4
3-9-15 for Mark-5
4-12-20 for Mark 6
Crazy concept, you could do All of the Above & it might actually relieve some of the crunch.
