Lets make a simplistic example.
Level 1-25 i get chars a b c for free from marquees
You join.
Your levels 1-25 you get chars d e and f.
Since im still playing i get d e f for free too
Now char y comes out and requires a b and c
Who has an easier time of managing their resources to get char y. You, or me? Now i spent less resources to get y. So when the next char comes out im still at an advantage because i have resources you spent to get y.
If it was someone that required d e and f we're on a level playing field.. unless a b c are needed for something else.
