I'd love to see Cad Bane get some attention - sadly, I'm pretty sure that ship has sailed. The opportunity to update his kit would have been when they did they added the Hutt Cartel tag to him.
I use him as he is and find that when I need his particular set of skills, they come in very handy and he generally pulls his weight. There were several GCs in a row around the time Jabba was released where his leadership ability was key to getting the T10 crate - even at gear 11.
All that being said, if they wanted to update his kit, I'd be all for it. I'm a fan of the character.
