I absolutely agree with @scuba and wish I could like those post more than once, because that is the same how I feel.
If they wish to have content that really challenges bigger accounts, they could add a "there is always a bigger fish" tier that unlocks when you have finished a sector for each sector with additional nodes (maybe even feats that can only be solved on these additional nodes) and give extra rewards for these. The emphasis here lies on extra, it should not be needed to unlock characters the way they are unlocked now or in any way change the timely progress we know from Conquest. They should be additional extra rewards on top.
