Can we please stop calling them "Microtransactions"?
Literally the smallest transactions available are about USD$10.
There are multiple USD$100 offers sitting in the store right now.
7 of the current offers cost about USD$60 or more.
Right now, I can buy the latest version of Civilization for $60. Over the course of a couple years, they'll release 5 to 10 expansion packs, 2 or 3 of them will be $50 or more, the rest will be $10-30.
Why is buying Civilization just a transaction, but buying SWGOH gear packs, which cost 50%+ more than Civ6, a "microtransaction".
They're not microtransactions. They're not "micro". They're just as "macro" as buying a console game. The only difference is that you get FAR LESS for your money.
Maybe it's still worth it to you. Maybe you buy $100 packs twice a week. Good for you. I'm glad you've got that much disposable income and I'm actually very happy for you that you've found a game you love enough to make that worth it.
But it's still not a micro transaction.
