Just "we are aware of the backup with cuffs and (a) it's intentional for gear balance reasons or (b) we are looking at gear progression and always trying to enhance user experience." I'm ok with either response but it'd be cool if I knew they were aware of it.
I currently need 17 whole cuff prototypes or around 850 pieces. I've got 23 characters to gear 11 so I've already used dozens, but this list keeps getting longer.
Edit: it's actually well over 1000 pieces I need because I forgot to count that many of these guys need more than one.

The answer is a pack, which is essentially a slot machine but worse because you can never win your money back. The level that these micro transaction business models are getting to is to the point of being far worse than online gambling.
