Terrible Grand Arena System.

Can we have overall agreement that GP means **bleep** all. Stop whinging, if your rising its a combo of you trying and others not caring. Its not qn x v y simple solution. 

GAC performance is a function of roster depth, skill and engagement. You aren’t being punished for doing everything right, you just matched with opponents whose performance was better than yours on the day. If they decided not to turn up you would have beaten them, but they did, so you lose. Remember that by design you will be losing ~50% of your match ups over time and it takes some of the sting out of it.

The old matchmaking system based on GP had some big downsides on the broader game so don’t expect it to go in that direction. There’s a lot of threads around about alternative matchmaking systems but no standout best option. Keep working away at good teams and you’ll slowly but surely rise - until you hit the kyber squish, another regular forum topic.
