Cantina energy refresh rate

Am I the only one who thinks that a slight decrease in the amount of time it takes to fill it, is needed? EA/CG obviously set it up this way, I just feel like the time it takes to refill is absurd.

If someone has 120 cantina energy, it takes 20 hours! Whereas the regular energy takes 12 hours to refill at 120 energy.

  • I think max energy bars should take 8 hours to fill for these games. It just makes sense to wake up and be able to play through a bar of energy. Especially when some battles are taking up to 20 energy a pop. I wake up and press 3 buttons then I'm done with my nightly accumated energy

Correction 120cantina take 24hour because 12mins to generated 1 cantina energy. But in Cantina you can earn Cantina Credits which you can exchange shipments. Compared to regular energy in 12hr you can refill up to 120energy.

If they cut the time in half, then you will progress faster. Instead take 1 month unlocked a 80 shards heroes you can do that in 2weeks. If you want progress faster you have to buy crystal gems. Simple.

Currently in Cantina if you are Pure P2P and don't refill. Pretty much it take you 1 day to get 200Cantina credit.

No refill = 200 cantina credits
    1 Refill = 400cantina credits
    2 refill = 600 cantina credit

  • Well thank you all for your response! I was not aware that the cantina is on a 12 min refresh. For some reason I was under the impression it was a 10 minute refresh.

I totally get why they did what they did. But I still think it needs a bit of tweaking. If the refresh rate is not something that can be changed, AT LEAST allow us to have one refill at 50 crystals, then move to 100 and 200 respectively.

Believe me, this is not a post "to whine about the mechanics of the game bc I'm entitled or impatient". This is just merely an observation I had, that could enhance the gameplay without deviating too much from the original design.
  • What I really hate is getting a notification saying my cantina is full when I wake up in the morning and to find it's not even half way there.
  • I believe you that you are not whining but you just not have patient.

It make sense that Cantina refill cost 100 crystals not 50 crystals. Plus cantina energy worth twice as regular energy.

Seriously if you stay in top 50ranks you can get 150 cyrstals + daily quest that close to 200Cystals. So you can have 1 Refill on cantina and 2 refill in Regular energy. I guess that is well reward for people stay at top 50.
  • Absolutely agree with this. The energy costs are too high, the natural refill timers are too high, and the escalating costs for refreshes are too high as well.

I mentioned this on the Q&A thread. I hope it gets some attention.

That is a very good point. That is what I'm aspiring to do. I am currently low 300's on my server. I know that I'll never be a top 10 player, so top 50 would be plenty sufficient for me.
  • The escalating energy refill costs are there to help keep the F2P on a more even footing with P2P by giving the whales diminishing returns on their expenditure.

And you guys are complaining it's the opposite? Lol
  • News flash: this game has a business model. Those of us who are f2p should be grateful that free play is as fun as it is. But don't be upset when they dangle carrots in front of us trying to encourage us to throw a few bucks for a few crystals, etc.

    +1 Exactly.
