It doesnt take away farming toons. It gives more freedom to farm relic materials. It just gives people more access to relic which helps F2P accounts speed up there joruney 

Yeah, like everybody else, a hard no.  If I'm not farming characters from the Cantina, I'm hard farming Signal Data.  That, is an endless task that has no break to farm anything else.  I would still obtain relic material elsewhere.....certainly for 20 energy.  I feel this would be bad for the f2p, and could cause them to farm relic material inefficiently.  

Agree that this won't work well for f2p and will encourage players to spend energy on something other than Shards & Signal Data. You can never have too much signal data. But I already have more Chromium and Electrium relic mats than I will ever need, and I'm way out ahead on Bronzium. CCBs are fine, but not way out ahead. 

Not everyone is where I am, I get that. But I got here F2P, so you can as well -- with patience and consistent play. If you detour your cantina farms away from SD, it will take you longer to reach the land of plenty. 

I don't know where everyone else is but I can say that I don't have anything in SHIPS nodes that I farm since I finished Batcher.

All my Blue Energy is just some sims of whatever G12 piece is most needed.

I don't even refresh it that often outside of "All Energy" days.

So AS I SAID MANY POSTS AGO.............If we want somewhere to use up some energy on some Relic mats......... I say put them in FLEET.

If only there was a raid where you could get currency to exchange for these. Or other events...

R8/R9 content is really not an issue as f2p accounts will rarely use it and at some point or another you'll have more than you can actually spend as signal data will be your bottleneck. And hey guess what, if you're farming on another cantina node you won't be getting signal data....

Essentially there is no reason your energy needs to be spread out just because you and OP can't or won't farm from the usual places and easily grow a stock of R8/R9 mats. And of course it shunts signal data to the side- how else do you describe farming another cantina node and not farming that, it still slows you down.

Seems with your "a bit spread out" comment that your issue is you don't focus on one thing.

We don't need those nodes- if you're in a decent guild and progressing yourself then you'll have more of those mats than you can spend and signal data will be your bottleneck. If you aren't there yet then really R8/R9 should not be your concern outside reqs.

Clear you don't realise (again) the game is a marathon and you can't have it all now without paying or being patient.

Well pardon me if I don’t particularly like the prospect of spending, let’s do the maths here… 32,000 crystals just to get two toons from R7 to R9 (poncho bros for the final tier of DOTF - at least then I’ll have a reliable source of these materials).

This thread is a hypothetical anyway and severely unlikely to happen, so what consequence is it to say “oh, I wish they did this.”

How & Why are you spending 32K Crystals to get 4 Relic Levels?

Duel of the Fates Relic-9 Tier is NOT what I would call reliable source.

If Gyrda Keypads & Droid Brains is what you are stuck/counting on then Don't expect this tier to fix that.

Those are "Possible" drops.   I almost never see them.

I mean, maybe every few runs I'll get a small stack but your talking a year or more IMO to do a single Relic level if it's just from these.

So just saying, its not some 1* a Month thing for 5 of each your thinking it might be.

You should NEVER spend Crystals for Gyrda Keypads
You should be going to the Jawa Converter using the G12 Pieces there & buying lots of those G12 pieces using your Raid-Mk2 tokens.

For Brains, well, that IS going to be Crystals or a Guild doing TW at 300Mil+

Sorry if that isn't something you want to hear.  Hopefully the Raid-2 tip helps.

I'll say I'm not a fan of the current raid for sure.
But, I find it odd that you say you can't get any Mk3 at all

20 People running 2 teams scoring 67% for 200K in 300K tier each = 10 Mil for 1st crate
30 People running 2 Teams at 300K tier each = 18 Mil.
40 People running 3 Teams at 300K tier each = 36 Mil.
50 People running 5 Teams at 300K tier each = 75 Mil

You can certainly get SOME Mk3 even if its down in the 1K-1750 range.
Which isn't that far off from my guild at 600+ Mil who is still adapting & dropped down to 3K so far on this raid.

Not trying to be a **bleep** but if your guild can't score 10mil then you really are going for mats that are beyond what you need.

Tarkin at R7 from SEE w/ or w/o some crap clones(& Jedi) added can pull off 300/300.
BB all at G11/5* can pull off 300/300.
KelBeq w/ some Jedi all Relic'd up can probably pull off 300/300 & FOR SURE CAN w/ Jocasta added.
Sana, Hondo, & Nest at R5 can trio for 300/300.
