Well, it looks like CG have in the past prepared cut and pastes for those dear, clueless people at EA help.
I'm going to state that, I know a lot more about GAC match making than 'K' or 'User173711749495996288206:49 AM'

Fine. However, change 'not strictly on Galatic Power' to 'not Galatic Power'. This is not how you use adverbs.
USAFmedic129 wrote:- Ranks are determined by a win/loss count. After each round, players are grouped based on their number of wins, and then sorted further by factors like GP as a tiebreaker.
Not in the least bit true. New GAC brackets are grouped with the 8 closest players. Old GAC was sort of like this I guess. Leagues were based off of GP. You were grouped with other players of your division. In week 2, you would face off against players with a similar record from week 1. In week 3 and 4 the same, you'd face players with a similar record. So, if you did well, it would get tougher from week 1-4 before the hard reset at the end of the season.
"Then sorted further by factors like GP as a tiebreaker"
Hmmmm, the leagues were originally sorted by GP. I'm unsure if they were re-sorted after win/loss records. Maybe.
At best, this is very very old and defunct. At worst, it's what comes out of cattles' bums.
USAFmedic129 wrote:- At higher tiers, divisions reflect how consistently you win, not just roster power.
Well that's odd. Because this reflects 'new' GAC.
USAFmedic129 wrote:Primary factor: Your top 80 characters' GP (not total GP or roster depth).
Was this ever a thing? 80 top characters does ring a bell...............but was it a thing for GAC? If it was, it's really really old and defunct.
USAFmedic129 wrote:- Winning streaks may pair you with others on similar streaks after the first round.
This is 100% old GAC that disappeared a few years ago. It clearly isn't new GAC because there is no hard reset after the season.
USAFmedic129 wrote:- If a player regularly skips GAC or loses intentionally, they can drop in skill bracket despite having a powerful roster, which can lead to “whales” or high-GP players appearing in lower brackets.
Well, this is current and from the new GAC! It contradicts a lot of what was said prior. Clearly they've been guided on how to deal with players that complain about big accounts dropping like a stone.
If this came out of EA help in the last couple of years........................that's really really bad.
