CG, Why Inquisitor Barris over Jedi Dooku?

Side note this could push players to farm up and gear these characters which is something CG likes us to do. The unused Jedi that is. 

 I would be careful to interpret a character you are not excited about is not as popular as a character you are hopeful to come to game. Inquisitor Bariss is one of the characters I was excited about (she seems to mop up unused inquisiors in 3v3 whether they will be powerful enough at my stage of game will be another story but I hope so). In terms of her popularity I appreciate her presence in this role was a very short snapshot but I have no heard any dislike for her inclusion before. On my list I have wanted to see Jedi Dooku, inquisitor Barris, Vader with his cracked helmet and Ventress from BB for a while. Having 3/4 of them I am happy and look forward to Jedi Dooku at some point in the future as he is a well requested toon and it would be cool to have the Padawan/master linage from yoda to anakin.

TL;DR of this post: "CG, why are you releasing character X instead of character Y which I would personally prefer?"

I like how you began with "many fans would agree" as if you're speaking for a group, rather than just stating a personal preference.

If they add Jedi Master Dooku, then they will have to add Padawan Qui-Gon, just like how they added Padawan Obi-Wan along with Naboo Qui-Gon. So I am not sure if this is a good idea. 

Maybe I’m forgetting something from before, but I think it’s maybe because they just recently had multiple new Galactic Republic Jedi with the Jedi Vanguard characters, and forming that entirely new team.

 I wouldn’t put it past them to save something like that for the future to lift up some more of the Galactic Republic Jedi that currently go unused, or just make another entirely new Galactic Republic Jedi team with some new characters other than just Jedi Dooku, but the Inquisitors are also a much smaller faction with their own unused members, with it seeming like Barriss specifically is meant to lift up Second and Ninth Sisters, while also providing another 3v3 grand arena team of Inquisitors.
