Character Kit Concept: Doctor Hemlock

Inspiration:
- Doctor Hemlock was the Imperial Scientist in charge of the top secret 'Project Necromancer', a study focused on cloning Emperor Palpatine to achieve immortality.
- He became the primary antagonist in 'The Bad Batch' Season 3
- He'll be able to Revive fallen Empire units and torture Clone Trooper enemies

Attacks and Abilities

Basic: Unethical Experiments
Deal Physical damage to target enemy and inflict 1 stack of Poisoned for 2 turns, which can't be resisted. If the target enemy is a Clone Trooper or Bad Batch, they gain 2 stacks of Poisoned.

Poisoned: -20% Health and Protection recovery; can't recover Health with Health Steal; takes damage equal to 30% of the total Health and Protection recovered their last turn for each time Health or Protection was recovered since their last turn.

Special 1: Study the Specimens (Cooldown: 4)
Inflict Expose on all enemies for 2 turns. For each enemy inflicted with Expose, Doctor Hemlock gains 1 stack of Insight (max 4) until the next time this ability is used and all Empire allies gain Foresight for 1 turn. Then, call all Empire allies to assist, dealing 45% less damage.

Insight: Doctor Hemlock inflicts 3 additional stacks of Poisoned on his basic ability.

Special 2: Break Resolve (Cooldown: 4)
Summon a Clone Commando if there is an empty ally slot. If the Clone Commando is already active, he gains Offense Up and Stealth for 2 turns, and Doctor Hemlock revives a random Empire ally at 50% Health and 25% Protection, and grants them a bonus turn. Then, Doctor Hemlock inflicts Torture on target enemy for 2 turns, which can't be Dispelled or Prevented. Empire allies gain Accuracy Up and Potency Up for 2 turns.

Leader: Advanced Science Division
Empire allies have +50% Max Health and Protection. In addition, the strongest enemy and the weakest enemy start the battle with Torture.

Torture: Take bonus damage equal to 10% of this character's Max Health when damaged by an attack; reduce Defense by 10% (stacking, max 50%) for the rest of the encounter when damaged by an attack; can't gain bonus Turn Meter

Unique 1: Project Necromancer
Doctor Hemlock is immune to Stun. When an Empire ally is defeated, Doctor Hemlock gains 40% Max Health and Max Protection and 10% Turn Meter. If Emperor Palpatine is in the leader slot, he can't be Defeated while Doctor Hemlock is alive. If Grand Moff Tarkin and/or Director Krennic are allies, they can't be Defeated as long as Doctor Hemlock is alive and gain +2% Offense (stacking) per Debuff they inflict.

Additionally, whenever an Empire ally is Revived, Doctor Hemlock gains 15% Turn Meter and +10% Tenacity and Potency (stacking, max +60%).

While in Territory Wars and if all allies are Empire excluding Galactic LegendsWhenever an Empire ally is defeated, Doctor Hemlock gains 100% Max Health and Max Protection and 50% Turn Meter. Then, all enemies gain 2 stacks of Poisoned for 3 turns, which can't be Evaded, Resisted or Dispelled. 

Unique 2: Clone Commando
Dark Side, Attacker, Clone Trooper, Empire

(Basic) DC-17m Repeating Blaster Rifle
Deal Physical damage to target enemy, twice if under Stealth.

(Special) Repulsor Blast (Cooldown: 3)
Deal Physical damage to all enemies and inflict Daze on the target enemy for 2 turns.

(Unique) Bodyguard
Clone Commando gains Taunt for 2 turns whenever Doctor Hemlock is damaged.

(Unique) Summoned
This unit's stats scale with the summoner's stats. This unit can only be summoned to the ally slot if it's available. This unit can't be summoned in raids. This unit can't be revived. If an effect counts defeated units, this unit doesn't count. When there are no other allied combatants, this unit escapes from battle. A unit can't be revived if this summoned unit exists in their slot.

  • I swear I've seen this kit somewhere before.

    Also, if I'm reading the wording right, enemies take less damage the more stacks of poison they have. The damage stacks based on recovered Health/Prot, but more stacks reduces the Health/Prot you can actually recover, negating that damage.

    Then again, it would be legal because of Hemlock
