Character Kit Concept: Kelnacca

 

Unit Name: Kelnacca

Attacks and Abilities

Basic: Skilful Bladework
Deal Physical damage to target enemy. If Kelnacca has Jedi Valour, inflict Daze for 2 turns.

Special 1: Madclaw (Cooldown: 4)
Deal Physical damage to target enemy and gain 2 stacks of Heal Over Time for 2 turns. If Kelnacca has Jedi Valour, he inflicts Disarm for 2 turns.

Disarm: -50% Critical Damage and Offense (doesn't stack with Critical Damage Down or Offense Down); whenever this character uses a Basic ability, they gain Damage Over Time for 2 turns, which can't be resisted

Special 2: Mechanical Work (Cooldown: 3)
All Jedi and Wookiee allies recover Health equal to 20% of Kelnacca's Max Health, and Protection equal to 20% of Kelnacca's Max Protection. If Kelnacca has Jedi Valour, all allies gain Defence Up and Evasion Up for 2 turns, and High Republic Jedi allies have their cooldowns decreased by 1.

Unique: Powerful, Silent
At the start of battle, Kelnacca gains 3 stacks of Resilient Defense, and is immune to Cooldown Increase and Ability Block. Kelnacca has +10% Max Health, Max Protection and Defense. If Kelnacca is Dazed or Critically Hit, all allies take damage equal to 20% of their Max Health.

At the start of battle, if all allies are Wookiees, Kelnacca gains Guard and grants it to the weakest ally and ally in the leader slot.

At the start of battle, if all allies are High Republic Jedi, Kelnacca starts the battle with Jedi Valour for 2 turns. Whenever he loses all stacks of Resilient Defense, he gains Jedi Valour.

Jedi ValourHigh Republic Jedi gain bonuses. Can't be Prevented, Dispelled, or Copied.

  • I would like to see some Wookie synergy on Kelnacca. And maybe a handicap that does occasional damage to High Republic Jedi allies instead of having any health recovery for them in his kit. I'd go for personal heal over time on Kelnacca rather than damage over time on enemies. Decreased cooldowns on allies is good. He should be particularly vulnerable to Dark Side Coven and...it would be nice if he had an ability that would allow for a choice of either increased offense or defense (stacking). Something similar to the way Ki-Adi-Mundi switches lightsaber forms. I like that feature.

  • We're missing Wookiee Jedi and Kelnacca would be a good addition. Other Wookiee Jedi that could be considered are Gungi, Tyvokka and Lowbacca.
