Since we have characters from video games I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for a visions character to make it in game. Based on my viewing of visions, I feel like this is probably the best, maybe only character that could/should make it in game.
Well no, characters from the video games and comics still come under either Canon or Legends. It's not the medium which they're presented that's the issue, it's more the world and continuity that they inhabit and how it meshes with the mainline timelines. Visions like Lego is its own thing, its own universe, within the Star Wars franchise. You wouldn't see a character in the style of Lego in GOH unless the game was solely based on Lego. If however you had any of the Visions characters appear in the main Canon, then you'd have a better case for their inclusion, much like how some original Lego characters have since been introduced into the main Canon.
I suppose what the devs could do is create a separate mode which segregates Visions characters without them interacting with the regular characters.
