Tier 6 (until about May/June), then all Tier 7
Tier 6 use to take us days...like 3 days or greater. Heroic can now be done by our guild in as little as 7hrs or less if all hands are on deck. Regarding the new changes, we have a sub guild that is still running Tier 6, and it's taking them less time, though I don't know exactly how long.
Since in our case it's mostly just about Heroic, I appreciate not having more junk gear from challenges show up. Rewards are best for the Heroic Sith Raid. It's been my impression that gear received from the other raids such as the rancor reward a lot less gear, and I wish those raids rewarded more gear relevant to the gear levels they are aimed at helping one boost up to accelerate said gear grind.
Currently that's hard to say as we already participate in the highest available tiers, but I do believe it's helping our sub guild. I would say yes to our main guild if future raid content doesn't make the gear grind worse, and I would always prefer the gear grind to be better for lower gear levels as the ability to grow in gear power increases in-game. For instance, when G13 is eventually introduced, make G12 and or G12+ easier to acquire etc trickling down. As an aside, we lost many, MANY guild mates because of just how awful doing T6 over and over felt (and their impatience to get Traya of course). Same thing happened to our sub guild. I hope you all can make future content less of a chore, and more of an enjoyable experience.
No more stockpile-like challenge gear in the rewards!
There's no change I disliked.
It's slightly better but not completely different since our guild is doing all Heroics. I feel it's a move in the right direction.
While I have you here, I think making some more of the in-game events simable would be great (looking at the Secrets and Shadows among other events) if the player has beaten them several times (especially without losing anyone). Also, I would prefer the Rebel version of TB to have 4 waves instead of 6 as it makes the experience much easier to complete under a time crunch.
