Chimaera New Requirements

As the title suggests, now that we have the new 3v3 version for ships, does anyone know what that means for the Chimaera event? What are the absolute minimum requirements? I read that you only need 1 extra rebel ship besides Home One and the phoenix ones. Is that true?

If it’s true or not u won’t win with one light side ship as reinforcements most r useless defensive ships

I believe the OP's question was already answered to his satisfaction. He didn't ask for hints on how to win the event:

Guys mimimum requirements means what you need to actually play the level not suggestions on how to win.

Anyway it is lame in my opinion that they lowered the requirements for such a unique, legendary ship. It was always meant to be hard to get, therefore strong and worth the wait.
Nowadays it seems so easy to get that newer ship arenas will be flooded with half-geared Chimaeras, instead of giving focused players the advantage of being one of the few to unlock it, after having farmed 6 rebel ships while others focused on dark side ships for other challenges.
I have a bad feeling that in the long run, this means a subtle, stepwise nerf to the Chimaera. As anybody can get it so easily now, they'll be forced someday to come up with a new, even stronger capitalship, making the other already existing ships even weeker.

Tarkin has already replaced Thrawn at the top of the heap, and there's a mix of Ackbars too. And half geared chimeras are great - take a slow cap ship and make it even slower. Tarkin thanks you.

No, you need 3 in your bae lineup plus at least 1 as reserve, so that makes Home one, the 2 phoenix and 2 other rebel ships for a total of 5 rebel ships (including the capital ship).

Are you sure about this? I played the event with 2 reinforcements, and didn't test what the minimum requirements are. However, it was officially announced by CG months ago, that the minimum requirements are Home One, Ghost, Phantom and 1 other Rebel ship.

It's this. You can't WIN with that few ships, but you can enter it.

even if u farmed chimera first still would be it like I do other capitals players that rely on capital ships to win lack strategy and don’t go far.

u sound very knowledgeable I switch from ackbar to tarkin when the speed caught up. U won’t win fleet when ur capital is 10 speed behind will be difficult lol.
