Anyone else disturbed by this thread where Vavavader is commenting to Vader's Underwear and medetec mentions 'You will be missed" and then you see Vavavader's avatar?

Maybe it's just me.

All apologies for the inconveniences. Unfortunately, we had to do this every day for the May the 4th Events which are now finished. We tried messaging that these restarts would be daily @ 9:30 AM Pacific every day so players could plan around it, but that is still not close to the experience we want for our players.

We've got tasks to help ameliorate forced restarts in the future. So stick with us, we want to change this too.

We don't have any restarts planned for the rest of the week, but emergency fixes can pop up.

Again, we're aware of the issues caused by the restarts, but know we're working to resolve them in a future fix.

So we shouldn't play for a 2 hour window right as we want to collect our double rewards? I would have thought it ends on the hour not at a random time just as I went to collect my last double gw prize.

Remove retreat from all battles that take energy so it can't be abused.

Can still be abused with force close.

Until they find a fix then so be it. Energy shouldn't be taken until a battle is complete. Win or lose.

Generally speaking, I would rather they err on the side of not allowing people to game the system. If that means you lose 16 energy because you can't be bothered to catch on to a restart that's happened at the exact same time every day for a week, well, then, so be it.

It's silly, that's why I'm bothered. Don't be bothered by the fact that I'm bothered, I can be bothered if it is bothering. They could have made sure people wouldn't lose things, but like many things in this game, they are rushed out before all their ducks are in a row.

I'll complain every time it happens to me, deal with it. Fortunately, this is the first, and hopefully only, time.
