Coliseum Tier 8

Hi all,

I hit coliseum tier 8 a week back and the mechanics of defeating the bosses to progress a tier don't really work well when the bosses have infinite revives and get an insane amount of damage output from the damage done to them. For example the tomb guardians will do crazy damage once you killed them and just delete your team out right with their AOE so you end up getting comparably little points. And it feels like it is getting worse each week. I can now not even reach half of the points I was doing last week (400k last week to 200k now) but using the same team and strategy. And it is easy to see why: they do 100% more damage to you once you damage them after no stack of armor plating. In lower tiers you would just kill them and they are gone. In tier 8 they revive and delete you. So shouldn't the mechanics of tier 8 reflect the infinite revives?

Agreed. I really enjoyed Coliseum until I unlocked T8.
When battling the cats, I am often left with the choice of attacking the weaker of the two, only to discover that when its health goes back up to full I have triggered the health differential - or attacking the stronger of the two only to damage it so much I get the health differential the other way around.

The Dryax are really confusing as the health differential appears to be the damage differential between the two of them. If one passes though red and goes to green it seems you need to do the same with the other to get them closer to same health. They can look like they have the same health but they don't. At least that is what it seems. Only 9 more days left in the Era, but it would still be nice to have some clarification on how Tier 8 is supposed to work. There are new rules in effect.
