Remember people, it's replies like these that serve to remind you why we have the Collusion Arena in the first place. People that would rather serve under a whale than fight it out for their share. It's sad to see individuals spend their crystals because they're told to, not because they want to. Don't be one of these people. Battle for Honor, but make sure its your own.
Most shards chats aren't like that. Most don't just give in to the whims of the whales. There are a couple of whales that share my payout time, and a couple other non-whales. We have a rotation of the top 5 every day for our payout. The guy who was in 1st yesterday jumps down to 5th and the guy who was in 5th goes to 4th etc. We don't waste crystals to keep people out of the top 5/10/20/50 whatever you wanna say. If we see a new face we try to contact them, get them in the chat and figure out their payout time. Before we had a shard chat the whale who shares a payout with me and another guildmate of mine and I would always be clock blocking and sniping like crazy and wasting far more crystals because we'd rather be in 1st or 2nd than 5th or 6th. We've all agreed that we all save far more crystals with the shard chat because we just switch off instead of buying more and more fights and constantly trying to snipe the other at the last second so that they don't have time to beat us or however you want to try and get the top spot.
Our shard chat also shares info on how our teams are doing, what are mods are like and that kind of thing. But even then it extends to new character releases, how some characters do in raids and even real life occurrences. Our shard chat has essentially become a second guild of people working together and helping eachother, just don't be a dick about it and theres no issues. My guild even had a few guys from our shard come help us get our HAAT on farm.
The collusion the OP talks about is not the way shard chats work. They're a place where we can go and say "Hey my payout is in 2 hours, but I have to leave for this meeting in 45 minutes. I've gotten up as far as I can for now so if you guys could just go around me that'd be great." It's not a place where people go "Wow theres this new guy getting near our group of the top 20 we should bump him down because he is obviously a threat. Oh hey you person down at 25 that we never actually listen to, hit that guy." The only people that get attacked by groups of the shard chat are the people that are constantly sniping 1st or 2nd at multiple times per day or all day because those people piss off everyone. My guess is the OP isn't in a shard chat and tries extremely hard to get to a higher spot, but his team is probably just easier to beat so it's seen as an easy win so it's knocked down fairly quickly OR he doesn't know other people's payouts and happens to be knocking people down as they're moving up in the hour before their payout at multiple different hours of the day.
