Imagine you take your kid to the batting cages. They're ripping it up at 50mph. They say they want a challenge, so what do you do?
Do you:
A: Turn it up to 55, then 60, maybe even 65 later on if they can handle it.
B: max it at 80mph right away because hey, they said they wanted a challenge.
If you chose option A you're a good parent. If you chose option B I'm not going to judge your parenting, but let's both just admit you probably have a mullet.
My point is challenges are usually incremental, gradual increases in difficulty. You want to like the new raid as is? Fine, but saying people asked for a challenge so they have no right to complain just doesn't make any sense.
There's just a pretty big difference between harder content than the Rancor raid, which people were rightly asking for, and something like this raid that is out of reach for literally over 99% of the player base.
