I agree with your post and plans for an overhaul. I hope that the developers look at this carefully.

Your Idea of Full Patch notes being done 2 weeks ahead is a very good/solid idea. I feel that this would allow the community to change the shard hunting and plan accordingly while still enjoying the game. It would also give the developers time to adjust features depending on how the community receives the planned changes. I find nothing wrong with the update being ready to go and shelved for 2weeks after the patch notes go live to allow more fine tuning with the community input.

A good example of how your idea is excellent is the cantina energy for mods. If given patch notes far enough ahead the community would notify the team this is an issue and the team could then change to standard energy.

Of course this all functions based upon the developers listening to the community which currently is not existing. I am disappointed in the absence of the development team from the communication.
